What is recycled silver sterling?

Recycled Sterling Silver is still a precious silver and of the same quality as not recycled Sterling Silver. Recycled silver (saved energy, more sustainable) is not mined from the ground (higher CO2 emission), but mostly extracted from electronics, medical equipment, unwanted jewellery or other used metal products that contain silver or silver sterling. 

Recycled silver has the same purity and quality as newly mined silver.
